Simply re-releasing it as a separate launcher with a patch to protect your old save games doesn't make it any less of a patch. It's really sad that you are going to tell the developer who spent 2 years working on the patch that he wasn't working on a patch. I'm done arguing about semantics with willfully ignorant people who cannot read or pay attention. Therefore, the final result is not going to be a mere patch. Why is it a separate release and not just a patch on your currently installed version? Because the patch will break your current save games and they don't want to do that. It's a very simple concept here: It's going to be a re-release of the game as a separate launcher with a patch/update (bug fixes and DLC ported from console version)
